Australian Drug Trials

Bringing HOPE to Australian MND sufferers

As part of the funds raised on the "Big Freeze at the G" campaign, the Cure for MND Foundation is working hard to help fund Australian led therapeutic trials for patients with MND in Australia. We aim to make a significant funding contribution to this process, and look forward to sharing developments and news as they come to hand. It is our aim to help bring hope to Australians currently suffering this disease by utilising the best and brightest scientific and medical minds in Australia so that we may all one day live in a world free from MND. We hope to announce the first of the clinical trials we are funding very shortly.....

To Care:

Maintaining Independence

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles

As part of our "Care" aim, we are working towards providing loan wheelchair accessible vehicles to people with MND to help maintain community independence and allow these MND patients freedom out of the house. The cost of these vehicles (which is often in excess of $60,000 following modifications) is very often out of range for most sufferers, and we are working on providing an alternative to these patients in terms of a loan vehicle to use within their time of need. We are proud of our partnership with Automobility Pty Ltd, and will be working to increase our capabilities in this area in the future. Take a look at the video above to see what these wheelchair accessible modified vehicles look like.

Care Partnership

MND Australia

The Cure for MND Foundation is working hard to form a new "Care" partnership with MND Australia. By doing so we hope to help the 1900 MND sufferers and their families across Australia by helping provide equitable access to vital assistive equipment and services that will allow MND patients to remain as independent and engaged with the community as possible whilst MND researchers work on finding effective treatments.
We look forward to sharing new developments with you as they come to hand...
